Warehouse Associate

Job Overview

We are looking for a hardworking, organized, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate/Courier. This role will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, labeling, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock and others. You should be able to keep good records and keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady. Forklift experience is required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Welcome delivery trucks
  • Receive and track shipments
  • Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
  • Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
  • Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
  • Tag, label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type
  • Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
  • Prepare all orders for shipment
  • Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
  • Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift)
  • Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
  • Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock
  • Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages
  • Organizing the warehouse space
  • Counting stock and keeping inventory records
  • Couriering Items to and from the testing sites back to warehouse:
    • Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
    • Picking up and delivering materials to the various locations as assigned
    • Performing duties assigned by the supervisor
    • Cleaning and caring for his/her assigned vehicle.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Forklift experience is preferred
  • 2+ years previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker
  • Hands-on experience with inventory and logistics software programs
  • Great physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solver
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to be a team player.
