Position Summary:

Embry Women's Health is looking for an experienced medical receptionist for our growing practice. With our continued growth and success, we are excited to hire a full-time medical receptionist to be a part of our dynamic team. As a medical receptionist, you will greet and welcome potential and existing patients. Additionally, you will perform other administrative duties and scheduling appointments to help manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic.

OB/GYN Medical Receptionist

Medical Receptionist's Task and Duties:

  • Candidate should have a strong working knowledge of Women's Healthcare.
  • Knowledge of procedures and understanding of medical billing, copays and insurance.
  • Strong Experience working with EHR/EMR systems (eClinicalWorks knowledge a plus).
  • Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1 year OB/GYN experience.
  • Escorts patients to and from exam rooms, providers offices, and treatment rooms as appropriate.
  • Performs other administrative duties, i.e., typing, filing, faxing, etc. as requested by supervisor or provider.
  • Prepares and stocks treatment rooms and orders supply as needed.
  • Answers phone calls.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently.

Medical Receptionist Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum 1 year OB/GYN Experience
    • Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
    • Medical Terminology: 1 year (preferred)
    • Bilingual a plus.
    • Professional phone manner and friendly attitude.
    • Able to demonstrate proficient PC/Microsoft/Computer Skills.

    • $16.00-$18.00/per hour (based on experience).
